Moon festival at New Shanghai

The Mid-Autumn Festival (Moon Festival) is China's second grandest festival after Chinese New Year. Falling on the 15th day of the 8th month in the Chinese lunar calendar, or Friday 13th September to us, the Moon Festival is a celebration of harvest at the time of the full moon, and where traditional moon cakes are often eaten.

From 1st August until 13th September, we'll have a moon cake menu available at New Shanghai restaurants*.

*excludes Charlestown Square and The Myer Centre

Head over to our Ashfield Workshop to try our truffle and pork moon cake, which will be available exclusively there.
